RAEN documentation
RAEN is a real-time NEAR market workspace: find new tokens early, read the evidence behind every number, get alerts that are measured against what happened next, and trade with your own wallet. This guide explains every feature, how to set it up and how it works underneath.
Overview
RAEN watches the NEAR launchpads (Nearly, Hoot and Shards) and other NEAR markets, and turns raw swaps, pools and contract data into a single workspace:
- Discover — Market Pulse streams every launch with price, liquidity, FDV, holders and developer activity. Signal Bastion pins the six projects with the most real activity.
- Understand — a token analysis panel with a full chart studio, activity, holders, pools, developer evidence and bundle checks.
- React — alerts in the bell and in Telegram for runs, accumulation, drops, launches, graduations and warning signs, each with a measured track record.
- Act — buy and sell from the same screen. RAEN prepares the transaction; your own wallet shows it and signs it. RAEN never holds your keys.
Principles that hold everywhere: unknown is not zero (a missing number is shown as unknown, never as 0), FDV is not liquidity, and nothing is fabricated — no invented balances, fills, prices or PnL.
Getting started
- Open the workspace. Go to raen.foundation. Market data is public; you can browse everything without a wallet.
- Connect a wallet. Open Vault and choose Meteor (browser extension or web), HOT, or Meteor Mobile (inside the Meteor app's built-in browser). Connecting only shares your account name.
- Verify your profile. In Vault press Verify profile. Your wallet signs a one-time message (no transaction, no fee). This proves you own the account and unlocks your profile, Telegram, wallet notes and price targets.
- Link Telegram (optional). In Vault press Connect Telegram, press Start in the RAEN bot, return to Vault, choose your alert types and confirm them. Connecting alone sends nothing until you confirm.
- Choose your alerts. The bell (top right) has its own settings in Advanced settings; Telegram types are set in Vault. See Alerts.
- Trade. Open a token, pick Buy or Sell, set the amount and slippage, review, and confirm in your wallet. See Trading.
Home
Home is a market overview. On wide screens: search, the 24h runners / Missed the move strip, a token table with tabs (All tokens, New, Graduated, Trending, Top volume, Watchlist) and, on the right, your portfolio, Just graduated, Live trades and Network pulse, with a status strip (data age, NEAR price, DEX volume, TVL, tokens, graduated). Phones get the same blocks as a feed.
Opening a token from Home (or any view other than the Pulse table) opens its analysis at the top of Market Pulse, right after Signal Bastion.
Market Pulse
Signal Bastion
The six (or up to 100) projects with the strongest real activity, ranked by 1-hour volume. Each card shows liquidity, FDV, the 1h FDV change, a faint 24h price line and four buttons: website, X, analysis (magnifier) and $ quick buy.
Quick buy: the $ opens a small window right at the button: pick 5, 10 or 15 NEAR or type an amount (0.1–100 NEAR, two decimals at most). Submit stays disabled until an amount is chosen, then the normal trade review opens and your wallet signs. Esc, × or a click outside closes it.
Graduates banner
Shows a launch that just graduated: a Shards launch that left its bonding curve for its own pool, or a Nearly / Hoot pool that first held 100 NEAR with at least 50 holders. Open → opens the token; +N more lists the rest of the last three days; × hides it until the next one.
The token stream
- New Pairs — launches of the last 24 hours (Nearly launches stay here for 24 h).
- My Positions — current and closed positions of the connected wallet.
- Trending — ranked by activity, momentum, liquidity depth, holders and fresh demand (a market-attention score, not a recommendation).
- X News — posts about tracked tokens; a token chip opens its analysis right under the post.
Search finds any token or contract. P1 / P2 / P3 are your buy-amount presets, kept per lane. Advanced settings filters by holder tier. A blocked developer's launches are hidden everywhere. The live ticker above switches between top FDV and top 24h volume.
Layout
On wide screens the analysis opens in a side panel that follows your scroll. Up to 1050 px wide (narrow windows, tablets, phones) Pulse is one column and the analysis opens right under the token you clicked; Hide analysis closes it.
Token analysis
- Header — symbol, contract, launchpad, age, live state, links, and badges: DEV BUY / DEV REBUY, DEV SOLD (receipt-verified), BUNDLE? / BUNDLE (see Bundle check), DEX paid.
- Metrics — price, FDV (spot price × supply), ATH FDV, liquidity (from fresh pool reserves), 24h volume, holders, blacklisted wallets and your holding.
- Chart studio — candles (1m to 1d) in price or FDV, USD or NEAR; overlays for your trades (B/S), the developer (D) and tracked wallets (W), ATH line; drawing tools (trend line, horizontal line, ruler, magnet) with undo/redo saved per token; PNG snapshot; % / log / auto scales.
- Buy / Sell — right under the chart. See Trading.
- Details, Activity, Holders — the last 100 swaps with filters (All, Buys, Sells, Over $100, Mine), top traders with net NEAR, the largest pools with 5m–24h stats, and holder concentration.
- Watch star and token bell — the star adds the token to your Watchlist; the bell alerts on every buy and sell of that token (Nearly and Hoot) while RAEN is open, with an optional minimum size.
Trading
Every trade follows the same path: RAEN prepares → you review → your wallet signs.
- Choose Buy or Sell and the amount (buys 0.1–100 NEAR; sells in tokens, with Sell 25% / 50% / all shortcuts).
- Choose slippage: presets 0.5 / 1 / 3 / 5 %, or type your own from 0.1 to 15 %. Above 5 % a warning appears. Slippage sets the minimum you accept: the trade fails instead of filling worse.
- RAEN shows a live quote: expected amount, minimum received, price impact and fees.
- Press Buy / Sell. A review dialog repeats every detail. Your wallet then shows the exact transaction; nothing is sent until you approve it there.
Supported routes
- Nearly launches — direct swaps against the token's wNEAR pool.
- Shards launches — on the curve or in their pool, through the launch contract (buy with a minimum out, fee ceiling and 20-minute deadline; sell and withdraw in one transaction).
- Other markets — when RAEN has no safe route, the panel says so and links to the launchpad instead.
The wallet bundle checks every prepared transaction against what you asked for (token, side, amount, slippage) before your wallet ever sees it.
Limit orders & price targets
Both live in Tools → Trade tools.
Limit orders (on-chain)
A limit order is a real order in the Rhea DCL pool. You sign once, when you place it. It then fills by itself when the market reaches your price — RAEN and your wallet can be closed. Filled tokens wait in Rhea until you press Claim; you can Cancel an open order or Withdraw unused funds at any time. Available for Nearly launches with a direct NEAR pool in Rhea DCL. The first order reserves about 0.5 NEAR of storage (extra slots 0.1 NEAR); an order placed at or beyond the current price fills at once.
Price targets (alert + one-click review)
Set one to five levels to buy or sell. RAEN's server checks them every minute against a fresh source-backed price, even when your browser is closed. When a level is reached you get a Telegram message (if Telegram alerts are on), and the target turns Ready in Tools with a Review trade button. Price targets never trade on their own: you review and your wallet signs. Up to 20 active targets.
Why not fully automatic execution? Executing later without you would require RAEN to hold a key that can spend your funds. RAEN never does that. On-chain limit orders give you automatic fills without giving anyone your keys.
Alerts
RAEN has two alert channels with separate settings:
- Bell (in the browser) — the bell at the top right. New alerts arrive within about 5 seconds. Important ones (priority runs, developer sales, warnings, your trade results) can ring, pop up and send a desktop notice; a run that keeps accelerating sounds the HOT RUN alarm. Choose types and thresholds under Advanced settings in the bell; lower thresholds than the defaults unlock the "sensitive" tier.
- Telegram — the same server alerts, delivered to your linked chat, with their own switches in Vault. Telegram uses the standard thresholds. One run produces at most one momentum (or liquidity) message per token every 10 minutes, unless the move grows at least 1.5×.
Alert types
| Type | Fires when (standard tier) | Why it is useful |
|---|---|---|
| Momentum | Early run: +35% in 3 min, +25% in 5 min with 6+ trades, or +50% within 30 min of launch. Trends: FDV +40% in 10 min, +20% in 1 h, +30% in 4 h. Recovery: +20% from the 1-hour low. | Catches a run while it is happening. |
| Buy burst | 3+ wallets buy 30+ NEAR net within 2 minutes, trade price +12%, no wallet over 70% of the buys. Sent in Telegram under Momentum. | The fastest signal: a crowd entering at once. |
| Accumulation | Nearly: 8+ wallets, 100+ NEAR net bought in 1 hour, top buyer ≤ 50%. Priority when the price has risen ≤ 30% so far ("early"). | Demand building before the price runs. |
| Steady buying | 4+ wallets buying small amounts (≤ 5 NEAR) in at least 4 of 6 five-minute slots. | Confirms quiet, persistent demand. |
| Liquidity growth | Trusted pool liquidity +30% in 2 min or +40% in 10 min. | Money entering the pool; larger trades get cheaper. |
| New launch | A launch under 10 minutes old whose X profile and website both match the token name, and the website answers. | Fewer fake launches to sift through. |
| Graduation | A Shards launch moves from its curve to its own pool, or a Nearly / Hoot pool first holds 100 NEAR with 50+ holders. | A launch that outgrew its start. |
| DEX Screener paid | An approved DEX Screener profile order was paid in the last 24 hours. | Visibility spend, often a marketing push. |
| Price drop | Spot price −10% from its 2-minute peak. | Time to exit or tighten risk. |
| Liquidity drop | Trusted liquidity −30% from its 2-minute peak. | Exits get expensive; a rug can follow. |
| Dev sold | A receipt-verified sale by the token's developer. | The strongest warning sign for a launch. |
| Blacklisted buy | A wallet from RAEN's incident blacklist buys a token. | Known exit wallets entering. |
| Likely bundle | The first buyers of a fresh Nearly launch share a funding source (see Bundle check). | The "crowd" may be one team. |
| Token bell | Every buy / sell of a token you put a bell on (browser only). | Follow one token closely. |
| Trade results | Your own trade filled, failed or needs review. | Know the outcome without watching. |
In Telegram, Momentum covers early runs, buy bursts, recoveries and trends; Warnings covers developer sales, blacklisted buys and likely bundles. With Accumulation on, priority momentum and buy bursts also reach you.
Alert track record
Every alert RAEN sends to Telegram is measured. Vault shows, under each Telegram alert type, what it is for and how it did over the last 7 days; each Telegram message carries the same one-line track record once its type has enough history.
- Base — the token's price in NEAR when the server first sees the alert (NEAR/USD moves are excluded).
- Window — the server follows the live price for one hour and records the highest, lowest and final price.
- Hit — for signals (momentum, bursts, accumulation, steady buying, liquidity growth, launches, graduations, DEX paid): the price reached +20% within the hour. For warnings (price drop, liquidity drop, dev sold, blacklisted buy, likely bundle): the price an hour later was 10%+ lower.
- Unmeasured — no price at the alert or none near the end of the hour. Such alerts are counted as alerts but never as hits or misses.
- Grade — only with 10+ measured alerts. Signals: Strong ≥ 40%, Useful ≥ 25%, Mixed ≥ 10%, otherwise Weak. Warnings: 50 / 35 / 20%.
The live numbers are public at /api/alerts/quality. Past results do not promise future ones.
Telegram
- Verify your profile in Vault.
- Press Connect Telegram: a one-time link opens the RAEN bot. Press Start.
- Back in Vault, tick the alert types you want, set the minimum liquidity, press Review changes and confirm.
Telegram also delivers: price targets reached, and trades by wallets you follow in Wallet research (when enabled there). /stop in the bot or Disconnect in Vault stops everything.
The Telegram Mini App shows your linked wallet's positions and PnL read-only. Telegram can never sign or trade.
Leaderboard
Public rankings by FDV, volume, 24h change, holders or age, as cards or compact rows with a 24h price line. Projects with fewer than 20 known holders or less than $2,000 known liquidity follow the others in every sort (before the Top 100 cut); projects with 0–1 known holders stay last. Unknown values are never treated as low or zero. Opening a token shows its analysis in a pop-up.
Positions & PnL
The Portfolio card (1D / 7D / 30D / All) shows total value (NEAR, wNEAR and priced tokens), unrealized PnL of open positions, realized PnL of the period, buys / sells and win rate. Swaps are rebuilt from the wallet's full transfer history, so Nearly, Hoot and Rhea trades count alike; cost is the average cost per token at each sale. Tokens without a known cost are left out and marked Partial; swaps paid in another asset are valued at the time and marked Estimated.
Wallet research & notes
Tools → Wallet research has five tabs:
- Wallet — any account's holdings, known PnL, lifetime projects and a graph of observed transfers.
- Following — your private list of up to 20 wallets with labels; optional Telegram messages when they trade above a size you choose.
- Wallet notes — wallets with the newest community notes.
- Traders — the most active observed traders for 1h / 24h / 7d.
- Project research — holder concentration and developer history for a token.
Community notes
Under every researched wallet anyone can read public notes ("developer of X", "sniper", "rugged Y"). Writing needs a verified wallet. To keep notes useful and spam-free: 3–280 characters of plain text, no links, at most 20 notes a day and 3 per wallet per author, 30 seconds apart, no repeated text. The author's account is shown; a note hides after reports from 3 different accounts, and authors can delete their own notes.
Bundle check
A "bundle" is a launch whose first buyers are secretly one team, making demand look organic. For Nearly launches RAEN watched from the first second, once the first three minutes are over, RAEN scores the first buyers:
- Strong evidence — two or more early wallets received their first NEAR from the same account, or the creator funded early buyers.
- Medium — three or more early wallets are less than a day old.
- Weak — entries within 5 seconds of each other, or buys of nearly equal size.
Funding comes from each wallet's oldest transfers in the FastNEAR transfer index (relayers skipped). The result shows as BUNDLE? (possible) or BUNDLE (likely) on the token, with the evidence in the tooltip, and a likely bundle raises a warning alert. A clean or unchecked launch shows nothing — not being flagged is not proof of safety.
Other tools
- Reclaim NEAR — finds NEAR locked in empty token registrations and unused Rhea storage on any account; your wallet reclaims it (up to 40 transactions per approval). wNEAR, staking and receipt tokens are never closed. No fee.
- NEAR FM — background radio, switched on only in Tools; a small indicator shows while it plays.
- Telegram Bot Connection — the setup steps in one place.
Settings & themes
- Theme — Black granite (default), Hoot and NEAR INU. The choice is kept in your browser and also applies to these docs.
- Motion — signal animations on or off. The system "reduce motion" setting is respected.
- Performance — Light (static visuals, fewer rows, relaxed updates), Medium (motion for the top 100 by market cap and the 30 newest tokens) and Full (video, complete motion, fastest live updates).
Data & methodology
Sources
- Launchpads — Nearly (catalog and live trade feed), Hoot / JustHoot (trades and holders), Shards (read directly from launch contracts: price, curve, pool, taxes, upgradeability).
- On-chain — NEAR RPC views for pools, balances and receipts; FastNEAR for token holders and transfer history.
- Markets — Rhea (Ref) pools and DCL, GeckoTerminal pools, DEX Screener paid profiles, NEAR price.
- Market tape — five-minute snapshots of active tokens kept for 7 days, used for price lines and studies.
Definitions
- FDV = spot price × total supply. It is a valuation, not money in a pool.
- Liquidity = the NEAR (quote) side of a pool from a fresh reserve reading, shown in USD. Liquidity alerts need a matching pool and fresh reserve evidence.
- Holders = accounts with a positive balance as reported by the source; exact counts below 100 come from FastNEAR when the launchpad reports none.
- Unknown = the source did not provide it. Shown as "—" or "unknown", never as 0.
Refresh rates
Market snapshot every 10 s; Nearly trades every 4 s; Hoot trades every 5 s; browser alert check every 5 s (15 s in the background); price targets and research jobs every minute.
Security & privacy
- Your keys stay in your wallet. RAEN never asks for or stores a seed phrase or private key and never signs for you.
- Ownership is proven by signature. Profile verification is a signed NEP-413 message checked against a full-access key; sessions are stored hashed and expire.
- Telegram is read-only for anything involving funds.
- Private data is yours. Profiles, followed wallets, targets and alert settings are scoped to your verified account; a wallet header alone is never proof of ownership.
- Abuse limits on every write: same-origin checks, per-IP rate limits, size limits, and per-account limits on notes and targets.
Technology
- Server — Node.js 24 (a single
server.mjswith modules insrc/): market adapters, monitors (growth, momentum, accumulation, drops, launches, graduations, bundles), alert outcome tracking, Telegram delivery, trade planning and the public API. - Storage — SQLite (node:sqlite) for sessions, positions and telemetry; atomic JSON files for monitors and stores, all under one data directory.
- Browser — vanilla JavaScript modules bundled with esbuild; charts with TradingView lightweight-charts; wallets through NEAR Wallet Selector (Meteor, HOT, Meteor Mobile).
- Hosting — Ubuntu on DigitalOcean, nginx with HTTPS in front, a systemd service.
- Delivery — every change runs the full test and build suite in GitHub Actions; a deploy backs up state, switches the release, health-checks for 90 seconds and rolls back automatically if anything fails.

FAQ
Can RAEN trade without me?
No. Every trade is signed in your wallet. On-chain limit orders fill by themselves only because you signed them as orders.
Can Telegram sign trades?
No. Telegram gets alerts and a read-only view.
Why does a token show "—"?
The source did not provide that number yet. RAEN does not guess.
Does a high FDV mean I can sell that much?
No. What you can sell depends on pool liquidity, shown separately.
Why didn't I get a Telegram alert?
Check that Telegram is linked, the type is ticked and confirmed in Vault, and the token's known liquidity is above your minimum. Repeated momentum for the same token is limited to one message per 10 minutes.
Is a token without a BUNDLE badge safe?
No. The check covers only some launches and some evidence. Absence of a flag is not a guarantee.
